The Housing Accelerator Fund – how we can help

Posted: 19 April 2021

PE Pipeline Specialists would like to take this opportunity to spread the word about the Housing Accelerator Fund, a form of financial support for the building activities of small and medium sized housebuilders and developers.

The fund, announced by Homes England, the Government’s housing delivery agency and United Trust Bank (UTB), an established specialist lender, will provide a massive £250m available for development finance to SME builders. The development finance is up to 70% LTGDV (Loan-to-Gross-Development-Value) and will provide construction loans between £1m and £10m.

The alliance will improve access to finance offered to smaller builders and drive the continued diversification of the housing market over the coming years. These new homes will prove vital for the UK’s economic recovery and gives smaller developers easier access to finance.

Go forward with our support

PE Pipeline Specialists will be offering its support to all SME builders, by liaising directly with their Utility Connection Partner (UCP) to ensure the correct material specification requirements are met for the asset adoption. Installing materials which do not meet the required specification can be costly and time consuming, so if you are an SME builder, PE Pipeline Specialists will contact your UCP on your behalf, be it for gas, water or electric connections.

We will discuss the material requirements based on the approved utility design and ensure your development goes as smoothly as possible. We can provide materials from mains to meter, delivered on time and in full.

For further information on Housing Accelerator Fund, send an email to development@utbank.co.uk or call 020 7190 5555.
