Suitable for use with water and neutral liquids (sewage), the 21/35 is a resilient seat, wedge gate valve ideal for isolation purposes. It has a temperature range from -10°C to 70°C.

This valve is designed and specified to the latest standards, including:

  • BS 5163 Type B
  • BS EN 1074 part 1 and 2
  • BS EN 558 face-to-face
  • BS EN 1092-2 (ISO 7005-2)
  • WIMES 8.09

Featuring full corrosion resistance, the 21/35’s body, bonnet and gland bolts are sealed with hot melt. There is an option for an ISO flange gland version for gearbox and actuator mounting (21/37 and 21/78), while for salt laden environments, the 21/58 version is suitable. For DN350 and 400 sizes, a bypass valve is also available.

A cap top is fitted as standard, and the valves now accommodate lifting bars for safe handling. These lifting bars are rated to the weight of the bare valve and stem cap (where fitted) only and should not be utilised if the valve is fitted with a pipe, mechanical pipe joints, gearboxes, actuators or any other external fitment.

Accessories include handwheels, extension spindle, a full range of flange adaptors and dismantling joints.

The hydrant is designed and specified to the latest standards, including:

  • BS 750:2012
  • BS EN 1074 part 1 and 2
  • BS EN 1074-6
  • BS EN 14339:2005

Featuring a low weight design and a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar, the 29/388 hydrant is kitemarked to BS750, and WRAS approved for cold water use. This hydrant is fully corrosion resistant, made out of ductile iron/stainless steel and coated with WRAS approved epoxy.

AVK CLEARWAY UNDERGROUND HYDRANT, PN16 29/91-001

The Series 29/91 is the dimensional equivalent of a squat hydrant but with a full, straight bore from inlet to outlet, allowing for a greatly enhanced flow-rate, as well as ease of introduction and retrieval of pipe maintenance and measurement equipment. This hydrant is also resistant to corrosion, as well as disinfection products, allowing it to operate for much longer in optimum condition.

Suitable for use with water and neutral liquids, it has a temperature range of -10°C to 70°C (for temperatures of 0°C and below, insulation is essential), and complies with the following requirements:
