PE Pipeline Specialists are excited to announce, Class 1 and Class 2 uPVC power duct systems designed for utility cabling projects are now in stock. These ducts meet the stringent ENATS 12-24 industry standard and are manufactured by Emtelle, a leading supplier of cable protection products.
For Scottish Power Energy Network (SPEN) regions, we now carry Emtelle’s Class 2 uPVC duct in stock sizes from 110mm to 150mm outer diameter. This duct has a standard interference fit socket rated IP4X and is suitable for use in SPEN’s lower load cabling runs and utilities projects rated to 450N compression resistance at 75°C. The Class 2 ducts are available in standard three metre lengths from stock or 6.6 mtr direct from Emtelle.
To meet the needs of Electricity Northwest’s higher load cabling applications, we are stocking Emtelle’s Class 1 uPVC power duct from 110mm to 150mm outer diameter sizes. The Class 1 duct provides superior 450N compression resistance at 50°C and features the interference fit IP4X socket connection. The Class 1 ducts are available in standard three metre lengths from stock or 6.6 mtr direct from Emtelle.
